This is the original camping spot my family used through the 2000's and 2010's. We have had very large family campouts here with tents and campers everywhere. This is the area still used by my family to this day, but when not in use by my own family, we have decided to offer it to Hipcampers as a group site. We have big plans for it in the long run, but for now it includes the features listed below.

Around the first bend as you enter the camping area, is our largest drive-up site. Located adjacent to extra guest parking area, this site is ideal for larger groups of up to 10 people and 6 tents. Close to the entrance to the camping area, this site provides a beautiful, shaded area with a private picnic table and fire pit.

A large fallen Cedar lays in the back of this unique site, telling the story of the 1950’s logging era. The tree fall creates a magical tucked away area perfect for a tent.

The Maple is nestled between several medium to large Big Leaf Maples, a staple of the Oregon forest. This expansive site boasts one of the larger groomed areas. It is also connected to the Chop Wood trail, allowing a serene, car free walk to the clearing and creek.

Set back a little further from the road than the others, the sounds of the creek can be clearly heard from camp. This Deluxe site offers a larger camp area, can accommodate up to 12 campers (6 included in the base price), and a 3rd car in the site. The deluxe site is also able to accommodate the Mini Yurt (Bell Tent) addon option for those interested in a little interested in adding a little "glamp" to their stay.

Showcasing the tenacity and strength of Oregon’s forest, a snapped Alder tree sits in the middle of this large open area telling the story of the 2021 ice storm. With plenty of room for 2+ tents this site offers a picnic table and a designated fire pit.

Another deluxe site that offers a larger camp area, can accommodate more guests, and a 3rd car in the site. The deluxe site is also eligible for the Mini Yurt (Bell Tent) addon option for those interested in a little interested in adding a little "glamp" to their stay. This site is a little closer to the creek access (near the group area), and is a great addon site for groups too large to fit into the Group campsite alone. Currently the closest standard site to the creek access point, the Elderberry is an excellent choice. As one of our newer sites, more details will follow.
